Warranty

Last updated: 21 July 2026

höfats wants your product to perform the way it should for years, not just on the day it arrives. This page explains the legal cover your purchase comes with and how to make a claim.

Your statutory guarantee

Every product we sell is covered by your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. We don't sell any separate paid extended warranty — your cover is the legal guarantee described below, at no extra cost.

What you're entitled to, and when

  • First 30 days: if the product is faulty, you can reject it for a full refund.
  • Up to 6 months: if a fault appears, you're entitled to a repair or replacement. If that isn't possible, or the same fault persists, you're entitled to a refund.
  • Up to 6 years: you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or partial refund if a product develops a fault caused by a manufacturing defect present at the time of delivery, though the burden shifts to you to show the fault was present from the start.

What isn't covered

This guarantee covers manufacturing defects — it doesn't cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, use against the instructions in the product manual, exposure to weather beyond what the product is designed for, or unauthorised repairs or modifications.

How to make a claim

Get in touch via our Contact page with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or a short video if possible. We'll confirm next steps, a repair or replacement, as quickly as we can. You don't need to register your product in advance; your order confirmation is your proof of purchase.
